Can anyone confirm browns? I though the R signified blacks or clears?

I've got a couple of G80-8113HRBUS-2 with browns, but I've seen them with brown, black or white (clear) switches.  Only way to know for sure is to pull a keycap.

I just got one with clears. I'm typing on it right now.

Not from that seller though.

bah.. The left control is BUSTED on the PCB level. :(

This thing is ok otherwise. I'll wait on another one. How often do these come up on auction?

Pretty frequently.  They're usually listed as MX-8100's.  Laser keys are more common than double-shots, so if you care, make sure to check that it's a G80-8113Hxxxx.

The B the V and the Num Lock are also problematic and I've seen more than one instance of green 'rust'. I guess $23.00 wasn't too much to pay for double shot caps. How do they fit on the filcos? I remember someone saying that they were a bit squattier than the ones on the filco.

I never really thought how good it would be to to go back to the Eclipse until I let its wrist rest to work its magic. I also never knew how heavy the keys on the clears were until owning the G80-8113HRBU-2 for a little while (though its still in one piece, its just not plugged in).
