I think this is one of those areas that most everyone has exaggerated or otherwise skewed assumptions of what "normal" is. There's always that one guy who lost count at 20 by the time he was 20 that influences your expectations of everyone else's life.

Admittedly I was exaggerating for comic effect, but yeah, social norms don't allow for people with taste :p

I guess I must be the anti-nerd in the thread- I've almost always had a (or more) girlfriend(s), and since I was nineteen or twenty the ratio of girls I've... enjoyed : my age has been greater than 1. The ratio went kinda berserk when I was bartending; occupational hazard of the job.  However, it really is possible to love your technonerd obsessions and the fair sex.

Just sayin'...

Don't mind me, just quoting your admission of that fact should it be needed later on.

This reminds me of a situation where a joke was made by somone, and one of my friends didn't get it. They continued to act completely clueless until eventually, someone explained it to them, and quipped afterwards "this is usually the point where you turn around and say that you were just trolling us".

True, true.

All I said in response to a Hitler post was "nice font" and everybody goes off to the races.

Well that was the Germans... better be careful not to upset the Dutch y'know. They have some pretty hard keyboards.
