Greetings from Vancouver
« on: Wed, 25 March 2020, 00:35:21 »
Hello everyone,

I am a programmer located in Vancouver. I just recently got into custom keyboards after seeing some videos from LTT. Before I have been using razer blackwidow tournament edition which has cherry MX blue, as a casual gamer. So I always loved mechanical keyboards, and the clicky sound.  :)  Now I know a new world!

I did a lot of research before jumping into a GB, especially because most merchandisers are located in US, which means duties and exchange rates (especially bad in the current time)... The first GB I entered was KAT atlantis from DeskHero.ca. That's a easy grab for me, since it is more affordable and it's a Canadian merchandiser.

The second one I joined was GMK Lunar, which I have considered for some time before making the purchase. I guess it's just too attractive for me. Bought the base kit + novelty + moon dust + flight plan mat. Wow that was pricy. But I am sure it is worth it.

I also bought a Drop Alt from amazon. I think I got a great deal. It's hotswappable, meaning that time for some more switches! So far I love it. Planning for some custom keyboards in the near future, hopefully.  :D

Looking forward to more GBs!

Not aware of that. Can you send me a link?

Thanks.
