This isn't a half bad deal on an old fashion M122 on Ebay. I just bought one since I needed one for my collection.

Unicomp makes German layouts and ships them to the U.S. if you like. Still, QWERTZ is not the only thing that matters. Sadly.

A 122-key IBM will easily fit in a flat rate game board box and go international for ~$80, but not everybody wants to do it.

Outbound international shipping from the US is some of the most expensive in the world.

I was getting one to finish out that part of the fleet, I'd wanted an M122 battleship for awhile as my F122 is awesome. I was going to put it on another computer because of how awesome my F122 is. So in this case, the desk snapping was being spread to another desk. I can't sleep without wooden ship like creaking in my house.
