I recently got into the keeb hobby and my wallet is feeling the hurt. However, the hobby must go on right?

I am currently rocking a gray high profile Drop ALT with the zealios v2 67g switches (lubed with tribosys 3204). Keycap set is the Drop + MiTo XDA Canvas.

Recently, I shelled out for the barebones Drop CTRL high profile (black this time) which will arrive in October. I also got in on the drop for the holy pandas, which I will lube and compare to the zealios to see what I like better.

Reason for joining geekhack is that I am looking to get in on a groupbuy for a GMK keycap set that will fit my black Drop CTRL keyboard better. I love the MiTo XDA Canvas that I have currently for the gray drop ALT, but I don't think it will look as nice with the black CTRL that's coming in October. I was thinking about something like the GMK vice nights or GMK dark (looks like I missed out on this group buy).

Anyways, I will be stalking the posts for a new group buy for a black/dark keycap set (cherry or xda), doesn't have to be GMK. If you have any suggestions on places to look or recommendations on how to improve my setup that I have currently, please let me know! Nice to meet you all :)

Nice choice. I fear my urges will eventually overcome my resolve, and I too will own both the Drop ALT and the CTRL at some point. I have held out so far, wish me luck. That's a cool cap set on the ALT.

Tactile guy then? I'm into clickies myself. I need to try those boutique tactiles though, since trying MX brown and not liking it doesn't exactly say much, and I have certainly liked Alps tactiles.

I'm not big into caps, especially group buys myself. You should probably ask about this in the Keyboard Keycaps section of the forum. I don't think a lot of people read or reply to posts in this section, and it would be more focused in that area anyway. I'm sure somebody will have some great ideas for you.
