HexenLomaxI remember seeing games like lords of magic, I never found it all that fun (the graphics had that weird bulgy 256 quality that's
bad), and I found the demo a lot more fun. The map editor was poorly designed and the game just felt too "busy" and misplaced. Over-implementation can ruin games too. Sometimes a simple concept works a lot better.
And I recommend a fairly fast computer for age of empires 1 -- P4s can even go slow with it on ultra huge maps & 8 players. If you play small maps with less players, 200 Mhz should be able to pull through.
