Help me... I can't find a keyboard that I'm looking for.
« on: Tue, 19 January 2021, 12:05:36 »
Hi guys,

I need some help or recommendations.

I'm looking for a keyboard that is fitting for the followings.

1. White housing, full size. 104 or 108 keys.
2. Cherry MX linear. Red, silence red is what i'm looking for but silver may be fine.
3. Gaming purpose. I'm playing rhythm games.
3. No Custum.
4. budget : unlimited
5. New only.

What I found is Filco majestouch 2 hakua, corsair k70 SE, Ducky one 2 white.

I know k70 and ducky one fit on gaming purpose, but they are silver switch only or out of stocks.

Hakua is the only leftover that fits in everything but I'm not sure this guy is strong and delicate enough for rhythm games.

None of Hakua reviews have some deep gaming perspective concerns.

Does any of you guys know whether Hakua is good enough for gaming or not?

or

Do you guys know any other keyboards?

Filcos were the gold standard for several years.  They're still very well built, and I can't see how one of those wouldn't be strong enough for anything you'd do with a keyboard.  It's just that these days for the price, the keycaps aren't very good, and there are no media keys or extra goodies.  Still, they're great keyboards if you want to pay the price, or find one cheap on eBay or Craigslist.

Varmilo also makes some full-size white keyboards that are available with silent red switches.  You can get them from mechanicalkeyboards.com.  The only one with all white keys is a Mac version, which has a Windows mode and sublegends for all of the Windows functions, but they have regular Windows keyboards with white frames and more colorful keycaps.

Thanks for the kind explanation.

I was thinking about Varmilo too, but feels like they are like a level below of other major brands.

What about a WASD?:

You can choose white now for the case and silent red is an option.

Thanks for the recommendation.

I have heard about just their name but never heard about a good story(neither a bad story). I was just never interested in them.

Now if it is in the same price range as Hakuo, I go better do some more research about them. :D
