The time is here! Today we begin the Group-Buy for the Campsite!

Campsite Raffle is CLOSED

Campsite FCFS Sale is CLOSED
Raffle was open until the 27th for 100 units. Winners will receive an email tonight with a code to buy the board at GB price. On February 2nd, all unclaimed boards and another 100 units were for sale FCFS on Walletburner.co.

Features:

Compatibility with all previously offered Minivan, Kumo, and Jetvan layouts.
Sandwich-style gasketed case with a sandblasted brass weight and 50A nitrile gaskets.
4 degree typing angle.
Case alone should is 2.8lbs, or 3 built OG Minivans.
Choice of a polycarbonate half plate for extreme flex, a PC full plate for medium-high flex, or a sandblasted brass full plate for firmness. Each plate material is available in either a split spacebar or a full spacebar layout.
Currently available colors: E-White, Blue Steel, Bushido Red, Drank, Space Grey and Jet Black.
Price: $299 + tax and shipping.
Ketch PCB available at sale for +$40.
Expected shipping in September/October 2021.
Launching on January 20th, 2021.

Group-Buy Rules:

There will be two stages: (1) a Raffle Stage beginning today, January 20th, with the form open until January 27th for 100 units, and (2) a FCFS sale opening at noon on February 2nd on Walletburner.co for another 100 units.
Raffle winners will be posted here and emailed a randomly generated coupon code to make the product available for purchase.
1 raffle entry per customer.
Limit 1 board per customer, with additional plates and PCBs available at purchase.
Botting orders will get rekt.

the raffle will close at 12 noon (central time) tomorrow! we have about 600 entrants and counting. i want to thank everyone for their support and interest!!! this has been a great response and i am constantly humbled by the positive feedback i get from the community. winners will receive an email with a coupon code to purchase the board @ 99% off of the current list price. i don't recommend buying it @ $29,900USD. any unclaimed boards from raffle wins by midnight on Feb. 1st will go back in the FCFS pile.

any raffle winners that do not claim their boards will receive a ban from all future sales. you have until tomorrow night (2/1/21) at midnight central time (UTC-6). zero exceptions. all unclaimed boards will go directly into the FCFS sale, which will open on Tuesday at noon central time.

edit: spot sellers will also get yeeted lol 2 so far

hey! yeah we had some backend issues during launch. very sorry about that! basically two apps decided they hated each other and dueled with each other over cart restrictions. luckily this was solved in the first few minutes of the sale, and there are still about 15 Campsites available as of now. we had almost 50 unpaid unclaimed raffle winner boards, which is pretty insane, considering there were 683 entrants into the raffle. all-in-all some hiccups but a pretty good buy overall.

the plate files will absolutely be made available after the buy but before shipping, and that will include the full and half plates in full spacebar and half spacebar configuration.

We did it mothermuchachos! Sold out in just under 24 hrs, even with 152 in the FCFS sale. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting this project! I will contact everyone tonight who got in on the sale to give options for add-on parts like plates! You'll have until Monday to email me with modifications

i have a second round of protos (1 of each part) to tackle some small issues with the prototypes then we will green-light the full production run. Updates will be added to the first post above. i hope everyone has an amazing day!

Can't say I like the attitude of people regarding the high number of unpaid boards in the raffle. What the heck is up with those folks.

alright a quick update: as some of you may know from updates in the Discord, i decided to shift factories after some B-stocking issues from Cajal. the plan was to use the same factory but after discussing the issues with them, i think trying a different factory that has a great track record so far is the move. About a month ago, I green-lit 3 prototypes and anodizing sample from every color and finish in the buy. They are hoping to finish that prototyping run within a month then we will move on to the full GB, with a quoted 90 day turnaround time. as those who were with me through Cajal (or any GB, really) may know, these are just estimates, but if the prototypes are of sufficient quality then I think we can jump right into production. thanks to everyone for supporting the GB and let's crush this

Update: We received v0.2 prototypes last week, and everything, in general, looks great. We need to go lighter on the blue in this picture, but all other colors will be approved as-is. I will green-light CNC production this weekend. All PCB orders were placed last week (300 Ketch PCBs!), and will be here in the next month or two. Some small changes such as adding 1.5mm underneath the PCB to accommodate some of the bulkier aftermarket Minivan PCBs (and to allow higher level of flex on the half-plate models) have been integrated. Overall we are in good shape, even with the delay starting production.

I was nervous when I changed factories after seeing huge issues with Cajal production, but this is a step up in quality. In addition to the offered GB items, I am investigating adding PU and EVA foam travel cases, which if everything goes to plan will be provided to GB participants completely free of charge. Hey everyone! I am happy to report that we are now on the production line, with an estimate of 2 months to complete manufacturing, then about 2 months after that for shipping, QC, then packing to customers. Let's give things a very wide breadth and say by end-of year, things will ship to customers. Thanks so much for your trust and I will post updates as they arrive!

for those that might have missed it in Walletburner Discord or 40% Discord, I also am providing Walletburner travel cases, free of charge to GB participants, that the boards will ship in. this will both protect the board from shipping damage effectively AND be a great travel case for what is a quite heavy board for its size. i hope this makes up in part for the delays after the factory switch! have a great day

Hey all! So we clearly overshot that 2 month production quote in June. They have finished machining all parts and we're on to anodizing this or next week, then they ship to me! I'll send another message when they're going out.

Thank you to everyone for your patience and support in this GB. Changing factories right after the sale was unexpected but completely necessary given the circumstances. I hope you all agree it was worth it when they ship! <3
