Awesome work as always Sour! Any possibility of putting the extra Hiragana B in the spacebar kit & having a sperate numpad kit? Normally I'd prefer the kitting as you have it laid out now, but with the way you have it now those of us who went in on Rd.1 would need to buy the new base to get proper Alice & Numpad support.

If so, I'll be looking forward to getting the Latin alphas kit to match with my R1 kit since R1 offered icon-only mods.

You could say I'm more than excited for r2! I ended up trading my sealed r1 for a board I ended up not even liking, so this couldn't have come at a more perfect time (my birthday month too) I love the inlcusion of tab and pipe keys on latin alphas so I will be able to fill 2 boards using all kits! However, I wish there would be a 40's kit so I could use this with corresponding legends on my neuron! Either way count me in for r2

Wasn't a decision I took lightly or made with ease, if that means anything. Went back and forth more than a few times but, ultimately decided I prefer Hiragana and a more classic look

THIS but add an r2 esc while you're at it! Not sure if it's been mentioned anywhere but will you consider a rama cap? The "Spicy" novelty text would be pretty cool on a rama cap!

Nearly bought this aftermarket a few times, glad I didn't now since I rather the designer get paid versus a flipper.

With people asking for Latin in base what about doing a full Latin only set with text + icon and a full Latin + Hiragana sublegend set with true full icon only mods (like Darling) with no text on any mods at all just symbols? Full icon only always looks best with sublegends so there isn't an obvious favoring of English with it written on some keys since symbols are universal language. This way a person could buy one, or both full sets and mix and match to get whatever look they want.

This is perfect. I especially like that it’s full icon + text mods now. Suits the theme better IMHO.

I’m not sure about Palate Cleanser kit though. I feel like there is not enough of accent and contrast against regular keys. It blends too much and does not stand out enough.

When I started in this hobby, I saw this set but it has been long sold out.

Finally, thanks for having a rerun of this really good looking set. What draws me is the very good shade of Green (wasabi!) while still being able to make a good contrast on the black.

Hey all, so about a second base kit.

The main focus of this set is the sub legends. Over the past bit, since the V1 shipped, people have asked for Latin alphas.

Waiting to hear back about pricing before making any concrete decisions but, my goal for this set was to have one base, and potentially get some good pricing on it.

Had a minimal amount of requests for 40's so far, so that's not looking like it will happen for the moment.

I both understand and appreciate you trying to complete you first run. This version is not meant for that purpose though, it's more of a stand alone run or a second version, like most other second versions or runs. Moving B to spacebar kit was a good suggestion, and that is under consideration, as it makes sense, of course, facilitating Alice support for potential R1.

A second base is not something feasible for this run, as I would rather run one well priced base, at a decent moq with supporting kits, for those that would like a little more. Being that the subs of this set are what the main idea is, I would like to not distract from that. If they were different colored bases or offered something else, I feel it would make more sense in that situation, and would have been done.

Could potentially look into adding an icon only tab to the Latin kit, possibly making that a little more friendly for R1 buyers, being able to outfit a couple boards with their R1 + Latin, that way and still have a matching tab (if that sounds like a good idea? Maybe a nice middle ground? Doesn't address the numpad, but I will not be splitting that from base, sorry), otherwise, building kits around R1 - what it had and didn't, doesn't seem like the most sound idea to me, first run was quite a while ago now. - Why you make me type so much Rob?
