Hi everyone, this is the interest check for GMK Taiga, a set inspired by the forests of Siberia

Update 11/03/2021

Slight kitting updates, added an enter to the alpha kit, while relocating the latin B to the spacebar kit.
Lowered the brightness on the kit renders, which should represent the colors more accurately.
Pics of the physical RAL colors will be posted with a reference once the sun comes out in the Netherlands.
Last change for now is some additions to the form, including a text+icon vs icon poll.

Added fixed Onyx renders, the bloom was turned up too high in the previous ones, and confirmed a collab with Keebstuff

I appreciate the inclusion of the tab key in the Latin alpha kit, but usually that requires the base kit to have two enter keys (Dolch R5 for example has an accented enter). While having an ISO enter does technically count, including the tab but not enter does make putting the kit on two boards more difficult, which in my mind feels like the whole point of an alt-alpha kit that includes tab.

Other than that, set looks fantastic. Always welcome to see more green sets, this one looks like a winner.

Getting strong nautilus nightmares vibes from this set. Still, I like it, and I like the fact there is more contrast on the legends than there is in NN.

The monolegend molds are available for use, right? (vs the gmk masterpiece molds where one might need payment?)

Tree novs kit? Firs, spruce, cedar, pine? Or just a metal artisan Rama/Salvun/Asero whoever w a tree?

Nice set! Would you consider all-icon mods? Would work a lot better with the Cyrillic alphas than having Cyrillic monolegends alphas and English mods imo. Also please consider adding 3 key 40s support in base!

I will echo the hope for language agnostic icon only mods. 3 key (R2 1.75u Backspace, R3 1.25u Tab and R3 1.5 Enter) covers the vast majority of 40s layouts physically. And maybe an outside shot at Cyrillic F row? ф1, ф2, etc just has that look to it. (If those molds are public, I guess) Спасибо!

We never got nautilus nightmares reference colors-it was just the renders at IC (and early renders in late 2018 were different than those at GB and to me neither looked very close to the actual set). Something similar for Peaches n Cream-designer had some in mind but we didn’t know them at the time of GB. The biggest worry for me isn’t that right now, it’s someone picks a reference color and then discards it because "it didn’t look like the renders" (Firefly, Future Funk, maybe another). If on your most color accurate monitor or RAL deck you like the color you’re probably set.

Anyways...I’d like the icon mods but I’m in either way.

These are both the correct opinion.
At the VERY least, please no Dixie (centered) mods, but also, icon only feels like the right choice here.

GREEN IS AUTO BUY but I hope you will consider minimal 40s support in the extension kit!

To be honest my huge gripe is that the cyrillic alphas don't match the english text mods. Missed opportunity to go full cyrillic. But I like green too much that it shouldn't affect my decision, unless I have too many sets to buy in the month that this runs.

ANY WAY you would consider cyrillic mods? Or possibly just icon mods?

Love the colours! Please make the final colours look more like the in-situ renders than the kitting images! (darker, deeper greens)
Also, I know not having latin alphas in the base is part of the theme/inspiration but I personally would prefer latin alphas to be part of the base, whether with sublegends or not!
