Because epbt still was a valid-ish player three years ago.

Because no other manufacturer offers the molds required for the set with an affordable price. I would have loved running this with GMK or JTK; however it would have put the price so high it was a non sense.

But living in Europe outside of UK and Germany, i see almost no difference in the final price as in kbdfans.

Lighting and color context. If you sample in paint it's a very obvious brown shade, much more than the picture shows. The keys are very slightly more brown than gray, at least how I see them.

Could a few others with this set please post some photos?

Doesn't matter if the keycaps are mounted on a keyboard or loose in their tray or even scattered across the table. Color appearance varies widely depending on lighting and other factors, so it seeing photos from others would really help those who cannot see the set in person.

Had my set arrive today from ProtoTypist. I am a tad deflated as I thought the alphas would have been more in the browner side based on the renders, as they’re mkre darker than what I was hoping for. Here’s a photo to help others see.

Ok it is very hard to take a picture of it as alpha keys really come out purple like the one you have seen few posts above, but it actually looks like the renders in real life under light. This happens when using phone camera, so someone might need to use a good camera to capture it. We have keys with optical illusion here
