What's the use case of the extra Tab in the Latin Alphas? Without punctuation and numbers, you can't fill another board with the leftover mods from the Base kit...unless it's maybe a 40%, yet there is no 40s support in any of the other kits...

Had issues with zf before, but their customer service have greatly improved.

Zion is not great for shipping for SEA; it costs 15 USD to ship from Philippines to SG, and zfrontier costs just $17 USD with much better options of express shipping above USD$100.
Having Zion as a SEA vendor is a joke.

Sorry, should not have lumped the rest together as I do not have experience with the rest; but perhaps should ask around the regions that they are vendoring for to see if their reputation thus far is true.

p.s. forgot that I had shipments from deskhero too; they’re great, so fuss free that i forgot I bought stuff from them before.

Did alternate alphas kit change recently? I don't recall it being dark green, rather the same color as base but without those runes. You can see it even on the third render from the top.

You are correct, novelties will be double shot + UV printed to achive that kind of design. Added that information to GB page to avoid future confusion.

I think it will look better with alt alphas overall but you can rock it with basekit alone, it's just gonna be a lot of different shades of green on your board

It's there to allow people to fill 2 boards with base + alphas and have 2 different colorways.

Yes, we debated about adding that key to the Norde but it happened to be a very expensive extra key so we didn't add it.

Alright, thanks! Just figured it would make sense to have that in the base kit, but there's always the mod colored novelty ISO Enter if someone wants to go without accents.

I'm late to the party! Just saw this set on Deskhero and I'm probably going to pick it up with dark alphas! I like a mono color and clean legends!
One thing I noticed, and its probably addressed in the IC, the numpad is missing some love! With the dark alphas alt kit, a numpad would stand out pretty hard with the light alphas. I guess that only an issue with Full size or 1800 or if you want to match your numpad to your keyboard.

Yeah, sadly nothing I can do about it anymore. Supporting numpad in alphas would make it much more expensive and it's not the most popular size throughout the community. Maybe next time I can offer dark numpad aswell.

This set is so freakin dank but at this point I'm waiting on so many cap sets I think it's best for all of us if i sit this one out. I've passed on a couple GMK sets I wanted recently because the waits and delays are getting so bad. I think I'm waiting on 12 different sets now... not all GMK, but all of them are promising delays delays delays. I like to think I'm doing my part in bringing the queue time down and increasing the hipster factor for the rest of you who are buying in.

Maybe when queue times are back to a reasonable <12 months I'll start buying GMK again. Also worth noting that I just bought a Domikey Cherry set which was in-stock and really exceeded my expectations... GMK gonna have some competition on their hands there.

I can only tell you what i bought and what Candykeys has on my Order which is getting "processed" and not "manufactured" like the base kit i ordered last year. So i think this order will get canceled tomorrow anyways. But hopefully i can order this when it is produced and in stock for real.

This probably isn't gonna be in your hands this year. There's sets that ran in Q1 2021 that haven't shipped yet. I mean, maybe Q4? When sets that ran Q3 2021 finish shipping, you can start to think this might be a month or two out.

- There is one remaining GMK set from Q1 2021 that has yet to ship (Tuzi)
- 37/40 sets from Q2 2021 have shipped
- 21/34 sets from Q3 2021 have shipped
- This makes 17 sets that need to be completed before Q4 sets are theoretically started (realistically, some Q4 sets will be completed before then)

With GMK fulfilling ~10 sets a month I would be cautiously optimistic that fulfillment for this set happens this year.

I was just looking at GMK's shipping progress yesterday. I can't say I've captured all the GBs or that it's 100% accurate, but this graph is for anyone who would like to visualize GMK's shipping progress. It's very close to what YoungManKim just said, and also shows months from GB end to shipping for those GBs that have shipped.

A red "in-progress" point is just the number of GBs with end dates in that quarter. No consideration for GB status beyond that - orders placed with GMK? progress of color matching? etc.

FWIW, the graph starts on 1/2/2019 and a quarter is 365.25/4 days so the X-axis legends always say the correct month.

It's hard to define exact GB shipping dates. They are always logged as the 15th of a month, but often not all vendors ship in the same month. I go by people receiving orders and posting in Geekhack GB threads, vendors informing in Discord servers, vendors announcing in-stock extras for sale (not when taking pre-orders for extras), etc. Not all vendors receive sets from GMK at the same time or ship in the same month. And of course it's likely some GBs have shipped and I don't know about it.

I'm also likely missing some GBs entirely.

AFAIK They are shipping out stuff like GMK Earth Tones, last time I talked to them I had every vendor fill in their billing information to be invoiced for deskpads separately. If anything changes I will update you guys here.

For me, M&C has not replied for around a month.. This was after dipping out of a live GB

Is there other options? I thought M&C received the shipment already? Earlier this week I was able to call my credit card's customer service center and charge back the money I paid for this groupbuy. I didn't come to that decision easily, but if you've placed your order with Mechs & Co, I would recommend you try a charge back as well.

I was waiting to see if Mechs & Co would ship these out like they had told Afresh, but then I heard that MilkyWay Fuyu couldn't be delivered to the Mechs & Co warehouse because no one was on site to receive it. That news coupled with the lack of communication that Mechs & Co promised in their response on July 1st made it seem to me like they are trying to ghost the community, so attempting a charge back seemed like the safe thing to do.
