Are Kailh reds still bad in 2021?
« on: Sat, 28 August 2021, 07:41:31 »
So I'm thinking of picking up a budget 65% board, and the DareU EK871 is on my list for the best bang for the bucks. Though they are using Kailh reds, which I havent seen in years. And as far as I remember back in the days Kailh was way behind Cherry and even Gateron in terms of quality (I know their Box Switch series are great though). So are these switches better now or should I look for other alternative? Thanks!

For a completely stock switch I would Gateron over Cherry and  Kalih any day of the week. What reasons do you like that board? For me at the cost of $100 USD I would be looking to other brands.

The keeb is around 60 bucks. There are some option with Gaterons or even Cherry but I can't find any of those in 65% form lol
