It is not the same exact blue.

GMK is hit and miss now, they have a defective S mold floating around, i do not want to play lottery with my sets. Poor DMG3 got ruined

Have not heard anything regarding S key replacement for DMG3 and Klassiker so very unlikely

I'm going to stick with a manufacturer that has all of the German-language modifier keys already made (not just the alphas). I've also considered SP, since they already have those legends and have produced keyboards with them, but I'm still aiming for GMK at this stage.

Prussian Alert seems to be cooking up at a very fast rate. Do you expect this to run after that? I'd rather have this over that, to be clear, but I wonder... Can you elaborate at all on what your plans are so that doesn't steal your sales?

I think if the set struggled to run with the regular GMK CYL it probably isn't the best idea to try MTNU.
While a cool keycap profile, it is by far less popular than the regular CYL.

I don't really have any control over that. The timing for when this runs is dependent on a lot of factors that are still in flight.

The kitting I saw on Geon's Discord is a disappointment to me, personally. I am saddened that you've chosen to drop the PL/UK kit and now I have to spend whatever on a giant Nordeuk kit to get UK support. It's not unexpected but is unfortunate.

Still, I'm sure you've considered it and your decision's been made for good reasons. I won't be buying but best of luck, I suppose.

So the reason for this is that GMK now has specific pricing and MOQ for NorDEUK kits, specifically those that conform to this set of keys. It will probably still be pricey to the end user, but it’s far easier to hit MOQ to make sure it’s actually made. I expect you’ll see many similar kits moving forward in other GMK sets.

I'm still soliciting feedback on these kits for small changes, but it is highly unlikely I'll make any drastic changes.

Note that the ESFR kit is very much up-in-the-air, as it was requested by a specific vendor. They would be the only ones planning to carry it, and they will only do so if they can get favorable terms from GMK.

There's an error in the chart. Two of the "Strg" keys should be marked as 1.25u, not 1.50u.

I understand there won't be much changes from here, but yeah it's a shame it wasn't viable to take the GMK Taiga or GMK Masterpiece approach and simply enforce the sole base kit to have non-English text for the text mods (basically merging German Macro & Mods kit into base). But the market was in a different place at the time those sets ran.

Based on your last kitting image, I'd have explored keeping the Prussian Eagle novelty for R1 at least in either the base or German Macro & Mods kit. It was a nice touch for those who like novelties.
Honestly, the inclusion of novelties would've granted me a lot more incentive to get the German Macro and Mods kit.
I understand the Iron cross novelties on R4 were a bit extra, but I would've tried to keep them, as they would've been a great substitute for "Sys"/"System" keys if I wanted to use the German Mods.
Also I would've preferred the classic simple style of the Iron Cross was used (I have an SVG if you'd like) instead of the spiky version seen, with it scaled to a much smaller size so it's a little more subtle.

So one important note here: it wasn't an iron cross. It was the Maltese Cross, a symbol that predates it by a few hundred years. It was used as the design for the Prussian Order of Merit, an honor established by Frederick II.

As you can see, however, it is very common to get the two mixed up. Between some concerns from my vendors and my generally just wanting to avoid the headaches of constantly explaining this, I decided it wasn't worth it.

I decided that forcing one type of homing on numpad 5 was an easy sacrifice to make the base kit a bit smaller. When I get a survey posted, if there's enough demand, I'll bring it back.

As for the front print, that's probably staying put unless the cost of doing so becomes prohibitive. Those front-printed legends are very common on the classic boards that I'm using for inspiration here.
