is there any chance for a polypropylene plate? also, pls don't ditch the gummy o-ring compatibility, would be a turn off to a lot of people
I have been considering PP heavily along with a few other plate options.
In regards to gummy o-ring compatibility, don't see a reason not to keep it! It is easy enough to add and doesn't change anything significant.
