HHKB 60%

HHKB is a layout that I couldn't get used to for the first couple of years when I joined the hobby. Since then, I have grown accustomed to the Control key being on Caps Lock and have grown to love it.
This is my take on what I think is the most beautiful layout for 60% (with thin side bezels) keyboards.

Case Angle: 7.0°
Materials: Anodised Aluminium Top and Mid-piece, Stainless-steel Bottom
Mounting method: Plateless gasket
PCB: Designed by Ai03 with USB-C daughterboard - configurable with QMK/VIA

2. STATUS

(15/06/2023) - Finally added V3 prototype photos (which you would have already seen if you follow my Instagram page). I have been testing and comparing it to V2 and I am happy with the side gaskets. The biggest change in terms of sound and feel would be the spacebar which had the mounting area removed. This made the spacebar less poppy and high-pitched but it also doesn't feel crisp.
I am testing different gasket materials to see whether I can reach a happy medium without changing the design of the case.

5. FAQ

Any chance of WK or WKL?
No, this will be HHKB only.
What colour options will there be?
Silver, dark grey and blue-grey are the only colours that have been decided on.
What is the strip on the bottom right blocker for?
They are indicator LEDs. The first one is for Caps Lock and the other 2 are layer indicators.
How many units will there be?
I don't know yet at this stage.
Do you have a sound-test?
You might be able to catch the typing sound in one of the meet-up streams but I generally don't do sound tests. If this ever gets built by somebody and they happen to make a sound test, I will add a link to it then.
Do you have a discord?
No I don't but Epsilon Keyboards has created a channel on their server for discussions on the Lily here

Love the design. I want the same design in a F13 WK TKL version - would be awesome! Just a light coloured bottom plate will also do. Don't need mirrored finish because I will be moving my keyboard around frequently. Can't be bothered to constantly wipe down with felt cloth.

I think you lose too much functionality and it also means that I would have to flip the stabilisers on the enter key.

This is the damn hottest thing I've ever seen. As a 60% HHKB enthusiast with a love for the RAMA seq2 look, I do think this is a better keyboard than I could of even imagined. I really do hope the sound will back up the look and design of it. Guaranteed purchase from me.
