« on: Thu, 30 September 2010, 04:13:41 »
This is up for sale on a local auction site for 250 DKr, about $35-40 ..

Anybody who knows if it's 2 piece keycaps ?
I'll probably buy it anyway, havent seen one of these in 10 years,
but it would be great to know exactly what Im getting ..

If it was made up to or before 1994, then yes. If after, it probably wont, although it depends.

Unless you need them for custom keycap mods, there's no real advantage of one part over two part keycaps for the Model M.

EDIT: Pics didn't come up first time for some reason. The odds are that that unit will have single part keycaps. It's not a huge disadvantage though.

Appears to be in really nice condition though.

Hehe.... I "won" the auction, nobody else noticed this gem :)
It IS in very nice condition, the original owner (the seller) unpacked it, hooked it up,
typed a bit and was told by his wife to put it back in the box and forget it, or else !!
Not the greatest WAF (Wife Acceptance Factor) this keyboard has..

I have a nice 3270 keyset just waiting to be used to ad some colour-funk...
