Introducing the latest keycap set designed by the talented Amamiya Nana – the FOCUS Keycap Set! (IC Form: https://forms.gle/wptN7AWxAmfbduPA8)



Drawing inspiration from the perfect blend of vintage aesthetics and modern functionality, the FOCUS Keycap Set pays homage to the recent trend of retro-styled digital cameras from leading brands. The design concept centers around the iconic Leica camera, known for its timeless design and masterful craftsmanship.

The FOCUS Keycap Set features the classic German DIN typeface, a standard that dates back to WWII. With a focus on showcasing camera functionality, this set beautifully merges elements from both the computer and camera domains. For example, the top F-row keys represent aperture values, the screenshot key resembles a landscape mode, and the Fn key shares a striking similarity with the continuous shooting function icon on cameras.

In addition, the Shift key has been thoughtfully designed in various lengths to correspond with different focal lengths of camera lenses. This subtle touch adds an extra layer of depth to the overall design.

While seemingly simple at first glance, the FOCUS Keycap Set is a product of immense dedication and creative exploration. We are grateful for the continued support of Amamiya Collection fans, which has allowed the series to reach its third volume. There will be a total of 165 keys in this set, which will be manufactured by MOMOKA. A whole new method of dye-sublimation will be utilized, which they made sublimating on both the front and the top side possible. It will be most possible that only the All-in-one variant will be released, which will be sold at a very fair price.

Regarding the release date?

If the focus keycaps receive a good response in the IC, they will be most likely live in a week, and the items will most likely ship 30 days after the group buy ends.

What is the profile?  (OEM, Cherry, etc.)
What is the material?  (ABS, PBT, etc.)

Considering that there is no mentioned price, material and profile, this is just very strange to say. (I'm assuming that you mean the group buy will go live in a week if there is enough interest)

Also there are enough photography nerds you don't need to appeal to weebs in order for people to buy your keycap set.

cherry blacks - unlubed - filmed and springswapped with tx 55g mediums - alu Plate | pretty happy with this, the blacks were cherry picked so they weren't that scratchy to begin with, but currently breaking them in, may lube them with a dry lube like ro59 or ptfe powder.

lubed with tribosys 3203 | like topre a lot, prefer it lubed but did make less tactile but that might have been a skill issue. probably will get more tactile over time as the domes age.

bad orange alps lol | definitely needs a restoration. planning on wax boiling them and maybe a replacement pcb because the board has only 2 key rollover apparently.

gateron yellows - lubed with 205g0 - 62g tx mediums - pc plate | probably my favourite keyboard already, feels super nice and sounds pretty good, it's got a great layout as well. probably gonna build this with mx browns, I feel like it would suit the board more.

stock with silent reds | Pretty cool looking board, the silent reds are actually good, they are smooth and I don't mind the mushiness (it's not even that mushy as well). the layout is pretty weird, but is useable. will probably mod this in the future. maybe a pcb and plate swap, change the keycaps to something dolch like, and also spring swap the springs in the silent reds.

stock, needs a cleaning and probably replacement foam. Do plan to change layout so it has split bs and rs, as well as ansi enter.

Built with new nixies on pc half plate. Love this board already, probably the best looking board I own, those brass accents are so mint. Really like it as is, but I do want to try an alu build (probably with nixies as well) just to experiment with that.

In case anyone else was wondering, looks like profile is Cherry and material is PBT.
