Any interest in a spacebar kit? Would like to have some 3u bars or maybe a 6u for hhkb. Also awaiting updates as it does seem like it's been a while...

It is recommended to find swagkeys to manufacture, their characters are also very good, and the price is more affordable.

Would happily buy this if it were in KKB - faster production & almost the same quality as GMK for the lower cost.

IC form completed - would love Super or OG winkeys instead of code.

Zfrontier has been added!

Would happily buy this if it were in KKB - faster production & almost the same quality as GMK for the lower cost.

Pricing has been adjusted to be a bit cheaper. GMK has promised quicker lead times as well :)

Sorry about the delay. I've been waiting for samples from GMK and wanted the edited render files before releasing any information.
IC has been updated and we're hoping for a middle of Q3 Group Buy.

Would love to see an accent ISO enter. It kinda ruins the whole point of the set without one, and will put it in the realm of "Generic Beige set" otherwise.

That price is actually really good.

I mentioned this in the IC but would like to say it in the thread as well. For true mx hhkb compatibility could you add a bottom row 1u alt (would 100% buy if it had this) also if you are gonna include mod tilde you might as well include mod pipe as well.

Also Also why was it changed from r5 to r4, not against it but considering the inspiration it seems weird to do so.

but this is still really cool, will probably pick it up when it goes to GB.

cherry blacks - unlubed - filmed and springswapped with tx 55g mediums - alu Plate | pretty happy with this, the blacks were cherry picked so they weren't that scratchy to begin with, but currently breaking them in, may lube them with a dry lube like ro59 or ptfe powder.
| hhkb bt

lubed with tribosys 3203 | like topre a lot, prefer it lubed but did make less tactile but that might have been a skill issue. probably will get more tactile over time as the domes age.

bad orange alps lol | definitely needs a restoration. planning on wax boiling them and maybe a replacement pcb because the board has only 2 key rollover apparently.

gateron yellows - lubed with 205g0 - 62g tx mediums - pc plate | probably my favourite keyboard already, feels super nice and sounds pretty good, it's got a great layout as well. probably gonna build this with mx browns, I feel like it would suit the board more.
| camo filco

stock with silent reds | Pretty cool looking board, the silent reds are actually good, they are smooth and I don't mind the mushiness (it's not even that mushy as well). the layout is pretty weird, but is useable. will probably mod this in the future. maybe a pcb and plate swap, change the keycaps to something dolch like, and also spring swap the springs in the silent reds.

stock, needs a cleaning and probably replacement foam. Do plan to change layout so it has split bs and rs, as well as ansi enter.

Built with new nixies on pc half plate. Love this board already, probably the best looking board I own, those brass accents are so mint. Really like it as is, but I do want to try an alu build (probably with nixies as well) just to experiment with that.

It's actually going to stay R5, we just messed up on the renders and made it R4 but. Confirming that it's R5 instead.

I'll get the 1u alts added too :)

I don't need this, but it's hard to say no to grey/beige with windowed caps and UK ISO in base. Any chance of a macro kit? Feels like it would go well with the NCR theme as the G80-0528 had a macro row (though they were technically Function keys)

I feel like designers are starting to use r5 a lot more, now that all the keyset designers who came in during the panemdic to make a quick buck are gone and didn't really care about profile that much, r4 is far more mainstream because it became the standard. I don't mind r4 but vintage inspired sets like this need r5 to keep in theme.

Haha no problem.

Looking at the kitting again, I do have some feedback.

- For R2, 1.5u Backspace, you can actually fit Backspace as a single line instead of a two-liner. "Backspace" should be doable and looks fine. I'd personally prefer this, and I think others do, too; not sure if this was intentional, though!

Hey guys, sorry for the absence.

We still plan to run this set and we're waiting final samples for the alphas from GMK.

However, due to the current market for GMK keycaps, I'm not quite sure if we're ready to run this soon and most likely pricing will be changed for a lower MOQ as many vendors will be reluctant to commit to the initially agreed sales figures.

Also, I plan to change the backspace to a single line and potentially add OG winkeys and menu keys like Blue Alert :) (Thanks Dru... Lightning Keyboards)

KKB legends are inconsistent. Some are thick and some are thin, the kerning of modifier keys not consistent. Some caps got their legends misaligned vertically.

and I don't believe KKB color matching. KKB violet alert was supposed to be U9/CP, but it actually came out closer to L9, rather than CP. For stock colors of GMK, I have full trust in GMK.

I prefer the sound of GMK(0.1mm thinner than KKB)

i am looking really close, cannot find any defects

Some are thick and some are thin
-the second "ac" from "Backspace" is fat
-"PgUp" is thick, "Pg Dn"is thin
-"e" from "Home" is thin
-"d" from "End" is thin
-"s" from "Insert" is thick
- "P" from "Pause" is thick
- "u" from "Pause" is partially thick

The kerning of modifier keys not consistent
- "T a b" can be better
- "Pg Dn" must be fixed (see "PgUp")
- "p" from "Caps Lock" is low
- "F 2"
- "F 9"
- "5" from "F5" is lower than "F"
- "Ente r"?

Some caps got their legends misaligned vertically.
- "Print", "Insert", "Delete", "End" these legends are not centered vertically. A bit higher

You’re absolutely right—this really underscores how GMK continues to set the standard. KKB may take inspiration from them, but GMK still leads the way.
