Hello!

Hi everyone,

I know this isn't really a fulfilling thread but I felt I should say Hi before I start posting here. My name's Mark, I'm 16 from CT, USA, and, erm, to be honest the only decent keyboard I own is a 1992 blue-logo Model M. I also have a G15 but it's too "OMG RICER LOOK AT OUR SCREEN SO YOU DON'T NOTICE THE ****TY RUBBER DOMEZ" for me...

I don't actually code that much, I know some web stuff, learning Python, but other than that I just thought the name was cool :P

Anyone who says you can't game with a Model M just hasn't tried.

Welcome to Geekhack.

My son, who is 15, keeps complaining about my scissor switch HP netbook (which I actually don't mind).  He MUCH prefers his Unicomp Spacesaver Buckling Spring.  And tears up TF2 with it.

Yeah, there are no hard and fast rules in Mechanical Keyboards.  It's what you like.

P.S. You're not alone -about one in seven people here are under 20.  And many of them are on Buckling Springs.

Nothing wrong with scissor switches. I much prefer them to most membrane switches. I'm actually really surprised at the G15. It's shockingly bad...
