Portable, premium, sculpted split ergos?
« on: Thu, 12 October 2023, 16:27:21 »
Are there any split ergo keyboards you guys know of that are both portable but also have the advanced ergonomics of a sculpted board like the Glove80 or Dactyls? I currently use a low profile corne as my daily driver to take around campus with me, but I want to try get a sculpted board. The thing is is that I never study in my dorm room, so I would prefer a portable one I can throw in my backpack with everything else.

My hands are medium to large and I can comfortably reach the inner-most and middle thumb key.  The last one is a bit of a stretch, and if it's tented then it's even further away. I only use those for temporary layer switching via hold-for-other-layer.  Even though it's not easy to reach I've never really thought I "didn't have enough" thumb keys.  Overall I'd definitely recommend it over any other non split, can't compare it to the other splits as I've never used those.
