Hardware in signatures clutters Google search results. There should be a field in the profile for that (again).

This message was probably typed on a vintage G80-3000 with blues. Double-shots, baby. :D

The same seller tries to sell it before at €4000 ... it did not sell.

Apparently, this keyboard is an engineering prototype, not bought in a store. Therefore, the high price.

By the way, this keyboard is the SAME ONE as the one that was posted by that Chinese collector a few years ago. In fact it seems like the very person who posted it on the WujiBBS is now selling it. It must be someone German-Chinese.

I asked the seller for bigger pictures a while ago, and those showed that its indeed the same model.

Wuji BBS 2008:

eBay (requested bigger pics by email) 2010:

Same board, no question.

The 000001 serial number wouldn't have been used twice either...

True, but if it was a prototype there could have been many with that serial.  Usually prototypes are all 00000's though.

I really wonder who pays EUR 1249.00 for a crappy keyboard with missing key caps.
Buy key caps here: Round 5
Buy switches here: CherryMX

"crazy kraut", "evil of capitalism"

Now that this one is in Europe I will travel to it like others travel to Mekka and pray.
