Today we bring a new series keyboard,hola mini(40% keyboard) and hola(40% with pad keyboard).

Feature：
1.They are designed for who love mini compact keyboard, want to save desktop space or carry it easily.
2.Hola with pad design,maximize typing experience while saving space. Pad area support split all 1u.
3.Split spacebar, a FN key between 2.25u and 2.75u spacebar,designed to reduce finger travel and increase typing speed.
4.Compatible with most keycap base kits,no need to purchase 40 layout dedicated keycaps separately.

1. Appreance
Add 3 small dots of RGB on the upper left side of the front as decoration,also it is caps indicator light.


A slight bevel design is added all sides to form a waistline to optimize the visual effect.



The back uses an engraved line design with a water ripple mirror PVD weight decoration, and hidden screws

I like this a lot but that bottom row is not a winner. Would much prefer an option without the 1u between spacebars.
Also don't really get the forced split left shift.

I have to agree about the forced split left shift. I'd rather have a larger shift and no extra key there. Please make that optional.

I like the bottom. Bottom row layout is weird. Every bezel dimensions is different which in my eyes is unpleasant thing. I mean chin, forehead and sides

Unlike to "everyone else" comments more big keys on 40% make no sense to me.
Such small keyboard requires changing habits (unless you buy it for display only) and more split keys = more keys = easier to map all keycodes.

The whole idea of utilising typical base kit is brilliant! First one AFAIK and deserves kudos without whining.
Of course I'm biased for unorthodox layouts - I designed this - feel free to ignore me.

It's not the first big mod 40% (off the top of my head Equinox ran 5 years ago). People aren't critiquing the amount of keys, they're complaining about a split bar setup that doesn't feel good to actually use. Fortunately Wind Studio have revised the layout and posted it on their discord. No idea why they're not updating this thread as well.

Nobody said they did and split bar setup is obviously a personal preference. Some of us find split bars reaching further to the sides (like full one does) better to use.
I am just expressing my opinion about slamming any new layout just because it "doesn't look" the same as the boring staple. I'm sure it is not about usage but just a resistance to embrace something different.

Looks like they don't care about their own thread, but I remember someone mentioning in a recent stream that both PCBs will have Full Left Shift support.
