Linux Mint - how to record internet sound on Audacity
« on: Sat, 18 January 2025, 17:53:07 »
I asked this a couple of years ago the last time I did a major system update, but I can't find it again.

After quite a bit of searching, I get suggestions but they simply don't work. For example, why is "What U Hear" simply not there in any of the recording menus or drop-down?

As I remember, ALSA is an acceptable host (the only one I find) but for Playback and/or Recording Device there are precious few choices and although "pulse" is supposed to be adequate, it isn't.

As always, I appreciate your help.

“It’s like maybe we should lose the majority so the WH and party leadership stop making stupid decisions,” the unnamed GOP lawmaker told NBC.
“Our leadership and administration just keep doubling down on stupid.”
