GB deadline will be extended for another two weeks, until 16 June 2025! The reason for this is because we have had an insane amount of difficulty over the past two weeks trying to get the GB Thread on geekhack posted and it was pending approval for the longest time--which was not normal. A few days ago the site actually ended up crashing and neither myself or any of the vendors participating in this sale could access the site. Content creators we have partnered with to showcase the keycaps had also only just started receiving their sets two days ago as well, so I've made the decision to let the GB run for an extra two weeks.

INSPIRATION

MW Dim Sum is deeply personal to me as someone who is Cantonese. I was introduced to dim sum at a very young age, and it has always
been more than just food—it’s a tradition, a ritual, and a way of bringing people together. The experience itself is unique: the lively chaos of
the restaurant, the sharp clatter of porcelain, the servers calling out dishes as they push steaming carts through packed aisles. It’s loud,
it’s fast-paced, and it’s full of life. There’s so much pride in knowing that these delicious flavors and this vibrant culture come from my people.
This keycap set is my tribute to those memories, the joy of sharing a meal, and the rich heritage of Cantonese cuisine.

4/11/25 UPDATE

In addition to lavenderbeecaps (LBC), I'm super excited to be partnering with msbobacaps, ahnuiya, and sonjie.art for the release of this set. I'm currently still waiting to hear back from a few more artisan makers and will update when I get a response!

Final color samples have just been sent out to me from MW, but because of the tariff situation we're not sure when it will arrive at my doorstep. Once these colors are confirmed I'll be receiving a full sample set and we will open the Group Buy! As of right now, an exact date has not been confirmed but we are estimating it to being around Q2 2025

We've also seen the responses on the IC form and will be adding a 40s kit as well as a nordeuk kit to the kitting! Will update with renders later this week.

4/12/25 UPDATE

Keebzncables will be partnering with us as the regional vendor for OCE! We've additionally also updated our kitting with a 40s + nordeuk kit. Based on the current responses from the IC and how soon the final color samples will be arriving, we are aiming to open the GB for this set in May 2025!

4/28/25 UPDATE

We've now confirmed our final list of vendors! I'm currently still talking with one more at the moment but will make a separate announcement regarding that once things are confirmed; they're a special one! I've also received the finalized color samples from MW and took some photos shot in natural lighting. I should be receiving the full set sample this week and will share real photos on a board within the next week or so. Photos of all the artisan keycaps are also currently being compiled!

5/12/25 UPDATE

GB dates: 19 May 2025 - 02 June 2025
MW expects production to take about 1 month after the GB ends and vendors should expect to receive units by then.

Thank you to all who have shown interest so far! A few notes on the group buy below:

- US vendor Invokeys will start their GB on 20 May 2025 @7pm PST
- UK vendor Prototypist will start their GB on 20 May 2025
- EU vendor Candykeys will not participate in the GB but will have an in-stock drop instead after the GB period ends

- Due to my current situation, the mini mousepads will now be a part of the group buy instead of being available for purchase separately on my Etsy shop. If there is enough interest in these I may consider moving them exclusively to my Etsy shop within the next couple of months!

The new GB link that will be posted in the thread to redirect people will be posted by Milkywaykeys instead of myself, as I am relatively new to GH and unfortunately do not meet the minimum number of posts required to create a thread lol
