Lucky65v2 Problem
« on: Sat, 12 July 2025, 13:20:35 »
So, I bought this keyboard second hand and I think the previous owner broke it and sold it to me.
The problem is, the keyboard, kinda "stutters" (I say stutters because the lightining stops as it is and it keeps the same key that I was typing pressed), here's a video example:
I suspect it is a firmware problem, does anybody know a fix for this?
(I didn't find a guide for how to ask questions here so sorry if it's incorrect)

Hey there! This problem is new to me, but a google search for Lucky65v2 firmware returned this result:

"This guide will walk you through the process of updating your keyboard’s firmware to address known issues, such as RGB effect glitches and double-click problems."

Certainly seems promising. Give it a try and let us know if it fixes it.

Note that I am not familiar with this brand or website - be sure you trust the source when installing software.

try updating the firmware first. if that doesn't help, resolder the mcu. i had a similar problem with my mode envoy and resoldering the mcu pin for pin did the trick. although it might also be a hotswapsocket, is usually the same keys?
if you are not comfortable with soldering, find someone that is, resoldering a lqfp is quite doable but i couldn't do it without a microscope..

Hey, kinda late for the response but just passing by in case someone had the same problem.
My keyboard ended not even getting recognized by my computer, but I didnt tried new usb ports to make it show on device lists, so probably didnt need to buy another pc for it to be recognized. After I bought a new one it appeared on the devices list but unrecognized. Then I basically needed to short two pins to get it into bootloader mode, Ill insert an image that show which pins I shorted. HEREhttps://i.imgur.com/LuL3Amh.png (I got the pcb image from a reddit post, the image is not mine) The pins I shorted are highlighted in red (two red dots)
