Curious about firmware choices for ergo boards
« on: Sun, 31 August 2025, 16:34:23 »
I’m a bit curious, what firmware do people usually use for ergo keyboards? For example, QMK or ZMK? I’ve seen some wireless split keyboards that don’t seem to run ZMK, and I wonder how they work. Also, what advantages does ZMK have compared to other firmware?

Great resource. It seams that both QMK and KMK could work. Python is a lot slower than c++ so does that make KMK much slower than QMK? Do you have any specific recommendations? Maybe in regard to reliability/eveyday usability? I am very new to the hobby. Thanks
