About Us
NBH - neighbourhood

We’re a small group of keyboard enthusiasts from Germany who care about every detail of this hobby but especially the social part and connecting with the community—because in the end, that’s what makes it special. Over the past few years, we’ve organized several smaller group buys of up to around 30 participants and now we’re ready to take the next step: connecting not only with our local scene, but with the international community as well.
Our designs are built with the community in mind: fully compatible with standard PCBs, with plate files made freely available, and absolutely no gatekeeping. We want everyone to be able to build, mod, and enjoy—without limits. At a fair and affordable price (considering the low quantities we operate at). That’s the way this hobby should be in our eyes.
That’s why we came together to form our growing community space, Neighborhood (NBH). It’s more than just a place to share our own projects—it’s also a platform for small designers to showcase their ideas, exchange feedback, and even get support in organizing group buys

About the keyboard
Some of you may already know Shy. He is a young and aspiring keyboard designer from Germany who has been active in the maker community for several years now. We have always admired his knowledge, dedication and especially his skills and design language.
The Shy60 is the culmination of various iterations with different mounting styles and variations in stylistic approaches. Shy has forged his design language through countless scrapped and prototyped designs.
We think that the Shy60 is worth sharing with the keyboard community.

PCB uses Waffling JST placement, so 4pplet's Waffling60.
