rant: people who put "trusted geekhacker" in the sig, which just makes them look really desperate to salvage their Gh reputation.

I did that when I was selling some stuff, to show that I had already sold stuff to people who were happy with the experience. You really need to get some brains though. And speaking of GH reputations, should I quote your threats to me again?

you should put those in your sig, i'm quite proud of them :)  I think that would have a better effect on your reputation than "trusted geekhacker".

The one between you and ch_123? Or the unrequited one you have on me?

Edit: I just realized putting you in my sig means that I and other people will have to look at your name a lot, and especially in the keyboard section (which I and others [not you] use). I don't want to turn everyone's stomachs, so I'll just quote you when I feel like it.

cool, i hope it will encourage others to send you similar pm's since they were so effective on you.  I'd post your sorry-ass apology that you pm'ed me, except i'm not a baby troll and am not in the habit of posting pm's. But heck, for that reason too I'm glad you do what you do so your retardation is on public display at all times :)

Here was my response to you. If this is what you call a "sorry ass apology", you must be on drugs:

Quote from: keyboardlover

I can tell you two things:
1. I have no plans to pic-spam all your threads
and
2. I'm not afraid of ANYBODY, on the internet or in real life (and there is a difference). If the second part of your message was meant IN ANY WAY as a threat, it means absolutely nothing to me. Period.

Let's get back to ranting, shall we? (I hate when people bicker instead of ranting.)

I hate opinionated weather forecasters. Just tell me the weather and don't give your opinion of it, damn it! I love storms. I hate hot, sunny days. I don't want to constantly hear it's going to be "a gorgeous day" on days I'm dying of heat and "we're in for some awful weather" whenever it's cloudy, rains or snows.

And when the hell did every little bit of snow become a "storm"?? Snow is normal precipitation in the winter (at least here in Canada). A "storm" used to be 30cm or more with high winds, causing white-out conditions. Now it's called a "storm" every single time it snows! 2cm of snow is a "storm"?? Give me a frigging break.

I also really really hate how TV news people act like the forecaster is actually responsible for creating the weather - saying things like, "Thanks for that fine weather, Jim" - if it's going to be sunny or, "Try to get us some sun next time, Jim" - if it's not sunny. What the hell? The forecaster doesn't make the weather! What - do they think he can pull the sun out of his ass or something??

Weather reports suck. I think the problem is that meteorologists are nerds, and like all other nerds, they can never resist an opportunity to demonstrate and explain their vast expertise on whatever esoteric abstract field they specialize in.  Hot weather chicks make the reports more tolerable, especially the ones who aren't very bright.

"So let's take a look at the map and see what the weather is doing in Eastern Canada..." ... um, yeah, like I give a **** what the weather is doing some place (or some twenty places) that are thousands of miles away.

My response is more along the lines of: "So let's take a look out the window and see what the weather is doing here".

They must think the weather reports and news need to be as entertaining as possible to get even the dumber people to check them out. I usually check the news and weather online, because it's much faster that way, and I also don't have to listen to some ugly people. Too bad we don't have any hot news readers in here.

Truth.  I suppose I could've chosen more diplomatic wording.  I've got nothing (well, very little) against Eastern Canada, but yes, I couldn't care less about the goings on of the weather, politics, and sundry gang violence over there.  I wouldn't expect anybody there to care about what's going on in my neighbourhood either.

The problem with local news - that is, local news in my locality at least - is that it isn't local at all.  It's national.  In the case of weather it's global (wow, it's snowing in Warsaw, I suppose I'd better wear a heavier jacket today).  As stated above, the news show isn't newsworthy at all, it's just entertainment.  There are better, more accurate and efficient sources for news.

I recently learned that before Raquel Welch started acting in movies - she was in Fantastic Voyage before One Million Years B.C. launched her to stardom, I also learned - she did the weather for a San Diego television station.

I don't know if any TV station will ever be able to beat that.

Ah, Mexico. A country with simpler tastes - one which, like Brazil, does not believe that it is politically incorrect for men to admire pretty girls!

And, of course, there's that famous Internet news video site that had slipped my mind until your post...

Ah:

the first woman featured in that video is Mayté Carranco, who apparently has quite a following on YouTube. For understandable reasons.

And she is also talented: she can sing -

The weather forecast which features her is El Clima, on the Mexican network MTY.

I'll have to find some hard data (it's been listed here before), but contrary to popular belief, government spending increases more/government gets "bigger" during Republican control and spending increased less/government gets "smaller" under Democratic control.  The Tea Baggers have no idea what they signed up for.

I hate non-stop bickering about US politics. "Sarah Palin blah blah blah... Republicans blah blah... Democrats blah blah... deficits blah... health care blah blah... terrorism blah.. security blah... taxes blah blah blah..."

Everybody around the world has to listen to this crap - on top of their own countries' political bickering.
