A lot of 6 Dell-branded Cherry ML4400s model number G84-4402PRBUS. Mini-layout PS2 with trackball.  Not sure what the switches are on these--beyond being short travel MLs. Labeled as "soft tactile" at http://curio.egloos.com/343077.

Definitely not high end stuffs, I'd be interested in 1, but certainly not six. Price (20 plus 14 shipping) isn't too bad if it stays low.

Anyone have experience with these?

I have one of these that I use as a beater board in the server closet. Not a daily driver by any means, but the built-in trackball is ok and the board itself will do in a pinch.

I might have a strange love for the MLs. One of these days I should compare my typing speed MX blue vs ML.

The ML board without trackball (4100?) wins the prize for 'smallest board that's half decent to type on', IMHO.

The 4400 is noticably larger (even ignoring the extra bit for the trackball).

I wouldn't like to use either full-time, but I use a 4400 to access email on computer B while my KVM is switched to computer A or C, and I used to use a 4100 on this 'living room pc' quite happily for years before I replaced it with a GHSS.

The trackball isn't great, but it works OK. That's about all that can be said about it.
