We are proud to present the Type Box 101800 in collaboration with Werk.Technica, the result of four years of design effort,
a 10 macro key plus AT layout keyboard featuring our signature gasket array with a hybrid leafspring and top mount design.
Typebox is heavily inspired by fragments of tech and gadgets I remember from my childhood.
From computers to industrial machinery, from game consoles to command centers, and from vintage design to retro-futurism.
Each influence played a role in shaping the character of the board.

Pricing, Vendors & Unit Availability

Typebox is a rather expensive design to manufacture. With its sheer size, the amount of material needed exceeds every design we've worked on yet. Rising material costs and different finishes, such as powder coating, add to the cost as well, but after seeing the prototypes, we think it was a very worthy endeavour.

Our aim was to create different pricing tiers for everyone without making the lower-priced editions feel like a compromise.

Anodised top variants (Mera & Ridge)

• 855 USD – 1,780 USD (copper base variant)

US customers happy info: As of June 24, keyboards shipped from Germany are once again subject to the standard Most-Favored-Nation (MFN) duty rate (0% import tariff) rather than the previously announced reciprocal tariffs. This means no additional U.S. tariff is currently expected on our keyboards.

Exclusivity

Due to local manufacturing and some locally made surprises we plan to include with the Moloko and Moonwalker editions, those editions are exclusive to the werk.technica store. The stock on copper variants remains very limited. Moonwalker variant will have a very limited stock.

The werk.technica-themed engraving on the copper base is limited to the werk.technica store as well.
