GMK CYL Rareabic

Introducing GMK CYL Rareabic, a set inspired by one of the rarest beige sets around: GMK Classic Retro Arabic. Instead of trying to hunt this guy down, I decided to create a modernized version of it with novelties, accents, and extensions.

This set uses stock colors: L9, U9, RO2, and CR. Beige is life!

I'm really diggin this set, looks great and one i'd definitely be in on.  How we feel about squeezing in F13 in base and 00 in extension?

Beige is life indeed

Nice to see a modern take on Classic Retro Arabic instead of everyone chasing the original. The mix of L9, U9, RO2 and CR gives it a warm look.

One small wish from a design point of view: I'd love to see a few accent keys in a warm dark grey or off-black. Beige is a light colour and the red is quite saturated, so together they can get a little tiring on the eyes over time. A handful of warm dark keys, or another low saturation colour, would add some weight and tie the whole set together. Pairing it with a neutral case would help in the same way and make the overall board easier on the eyes.

Looking forward to seeing the full kit renders for the extension kit.
