I need these for a custom-job present to my German wife.

Seems like a bad idea to post boards you plan to bid on. These already seem sky high and way over average. Got both of them before at 1 EUR.

Yeah, because for one, apple never fixed or inflated a price of theirs.

Most US companies will just charge the UK price the same in £ as it is in $.
Filco Zero, Viglen DFK 2020UKF104, DTK SPK-102a, Panasonic Biz 500
Ducky 1087 Chicony KB-5191, G80-1856HQMGB Cherry G80-1000HFD and others

Yes, some bozo seems to have given the Germans the impression that a used G80-1501 HAD should be worth more than a few € . Damn Koreans !!
The starting-bid for the other one was 4€ ..
And shipping is 8-10€, sure as Hell beats 40$ from the US plus customs-fee
of 30€ AND 25% VAT added ....

However, I will naturally buy the 2 cheap ones you have, without blinking ...

I asked the seller about that keyboard. He stated it is a G83 and I new it could only be a G81 or G80. He replied so shortly before the end of the auction (his 2nd attempt to sell it @ 4 EUR start price) that I had no chance to get it. I didn't want to get another G81 just because the seller doesn't respond in time.

The seller asked me for how many days he should auction it again, such that I could bid on it. I told him not to auction it again, and offered him the 8,50 EUR (start price+shipping). He did not reply.

Today, I found it again, this time its correct name included in the text.

Grrrrrml!!!!!!!!!!!

Now, as everyone knows what it is:

 Get ready.. get set...
          open your wallets wide...

ps: I told him he should pay me a reward, because it was me who made him turn around his keyboard to look at its name.

Edit:

Wait a minute!

Sounds like you have another wife in a different country.

Ironically I also sold the G80-1501 that I had gotten for 1 EUR to Korea. Thats how the foodchain works out I guess.

The HFMDE is pretty rare btw.. Cherry only made 3 or 4 runs of boards with double shot keys in ivory with windows keys.

1501s are only cool for the LED keys.. and I have some of those brand new from a special order in 2007:

PS: What is your plan with these keyboards? What do you want to mod for your wife? I have many spare ancient and beaten up G80s... somewhere. I might be able to help you out cheaper, depending on what your needs are.

The "spare and ancient" G80-1851 I got from Sixty is geil.  A little cleaning and it was ready to go.

I am totally satisfied.  Good luck in the auction.
