Rosewill 9000 from Newegg.ca is probably your best bet. Meets all your requirements and the easiest to get in Canada.

Rofl. As far as mech boards go, that is pretty cheap. These aren't crappy rubber-domes with fancy lights we're talking about here.

being used to $20 boards, the first $100 board is a little hard to swallow.

no worries, it's all down-hill from there ;D

Yeah I can vouch for that. I just bought a HHKB Pro 2, after my Filco 87 Brown.

I would look for a Dell AT101W on the bay, you can get them in white/beige and sometimes black like you mentioned wanting.

IBM model M's on the bay although not black.
Mx11900 on the bay, but they are not as loud and they are linear.
You might want to look up an ABS M1
Everything mentioned could easily come in under $50.
Perhaps some addesso keyboards too.

here is a black AT101W   V

Edit: don't forget to check out the various wikis that have been constructed here. There is some really good info there provided by some great members!

How about Razer Black Widow for $70? It's for gaming, and MX blue switch which means loud.

Rosewill for $100 is not cheap at least to me. It's at most a normal price.

By the way, I heard that this Rosewill keyboard comes from the same factory as Filco in Taiwan. Just think of it as Filco, and see if you feel it cheap or not. For me, $100 for Filco is not cheap as I got my new 6Gv2 for $65.

Which was for a limited sale. The 6Gv2 is normally $100.

~100 is the sweet spot where you get out of the excessive corner cutting. The Adesso boards that are around $80 have a lot of small quality control issues. Enough so I found it worth it to spend a bit more on a Rosewill that had fewer features...

I feel the old saying "you get what you pay for" is quite true to keyboards.

From what i've seen the rosewill and steelseries 6gv2 seem to be in the lowest pricing bracket for decent mechanical keyboard with nkro. Black widow is also somewhere around this pricing but is 2KRO ....

Higher up the bracket in the 150-190 usd range is the filco/ducky/leopold

And higher up than that in the 200-300 ish range is the Deck Legend and Topre.

And above that is the maximus optimus keyboard

Or alternatively if your looking for cheap; you can check the geekhack marketplace or ebay for a sweet deal on a second hand.

Used Filco Zero? White clicky Alps-like switches and NKRO. Those supposedly have transposition error issues however.
