Does Ducky finally have a US distributor?
« on: Fri, 17 December 2010, 01:18:17 »
Just came across this on eBay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Ducky-Keyboard-/260709289613?pt=PCA_Mice_Trackballs&hash=item3cb37c0e8d

Lists exchange/return info and an address based in CA.  Looks like the seller setup an eBay shop using the Ducky name and registered a "Ducky US" e-mail address.

Prices aren't that great, however. :tsk:

eh...this doesn't seem that attractive to me, considering I'm in CA as well, I'm going to be raped with an additional 10% due to sales taxes...assuming their op is legit...

Do you get 10% sales tax when you buy Ebay from / to california?  That sucks actually maybe it makes more sense to go through PChome?

Although you can return it if defective which is always a plus.

do some check first, this is a new seller, zero feed back, 8 items in store, using generic images.
contact info is the same as:

Business Contact and Profile for Blast Zone
Name:    Blast Zone
Phone:    (707) 751-0110
Address:    2350 South Watney Way Suite H
   Fairfield, CA 94533
Website:    http://www.blastzonebounce.com
   http://www.bouncersdirect.com

that was from the BBB, checked the website, still valid and seems like they're still in business too.

don't businesses have seperate suites? they are both using suite H.
Ducky Channel

Attn: Customer Service

2350 S. Watney Way. Ste. H,

The Ducky website has a link to "Keycap Group" under products, but it's busted. Blargh.

I would love to buy some lasered PBTs for my filco.

Yes, we get hit pretty hard with the 10% sales tax.  If Ducky Channel is going to officially conduct business in the State of California (and they have to note that they are a registered business in CA and will charge sales tax), then their prices on eBay are no longer better than PCHome.

Oh look!
