Even Signature Plastics is not consistent with their fonts in the keys they make yet they claim to only have one style.  Unicomp and Signature make me worry about the future of USA Manufacturing.

The Germanic precision of Cherry Corp doubleshots is much better.

The USA at least still make them. Hopefully the ability of doubleshot production does not correlate with the ability to be a superpower.

I remember the pirate tape from the adverts run in the 1980's to try and stop kids copying music and games for their C64.  Nothing has changed except the delivery mechanism.  I would also like to see a run/stop key

We had a '5 down' key in the last round, so I'd be in for a '1 up' in the next.

The aperture key is lame, because it is 8 blades which makes only 8-pointed sunstars, compared to 7 blades which make 14-pointed sunstars!

I'm going to officially state here that I do not plan to facilitate the round 4 group buy.  (probably to everyone's relief)  :)

It's simply something I can't do again.  It's WAY too much to deal with.

I'd be more then happy to share what I've learned.  Sorting the standard kits was, initially, the most time consuming.  But dealing with the blank orders is probably the biggest pain in the rear overall.

Regardless, you need to be intimately familiar with the kits, various iterations, one-offs, etc.  To 7bit's credit, he was very organized and provided a lot of great helpful documentation.

BTW isn't blanks exactly what SP would be willing to sort? Meaning correct amount of each row and then just sorting the smaller ammounts?
So I should add something useless here yes? Ok, ok...

I thank you very much that you did it for Round 3.

I've originally thought you would get some people together.

Doing it alone took some amount of time, but I think we all respect your efford to do all the sorting and shipping for us!

I know it was no easy task with all those keys with the same labeling in different rows for different kits. Given the massive amount of key caps, your error quote was quite small (my list of missing keys is only 18 lines long).

Maybe we should have let them done these. On the other hand, the blank kits where quite a messy amount of different kits. I doubt SP would be able to handle these right.

Thanks again for doing round 3 though. I remember being surprised when I found out that you were the only one who was gonna sort the keys, especially as the numbers  of orders grew into the tens of thousands. Also thanks to 7bit as well, I'm sure his email/PM box was reaching quota every day with all the questions/orders.

But I doubt it will be any faster. He will involve the keys in his Lego scenes and put all coins of all known currencies in them to see how many it takes to crack them, or so.

This is too modern! It should be a 5.25" or (if it's not too big for the key) an 8" floppy.

I just received my order # 179 this afternoon. Many thanks to 7bit and iMav.

But a few items what I ordered and paid for are not included in the package:

SCESCTERRAN         |Starcraft Terran-Shield funct.  |  2.00|  1|  1|   2.00
SCESCPROTOSS        |Starcraft Protoss-Std. funct.   |  2.00|  1|  1|   2.00
SCESCZERG           |Starcraft Zerg simpl. funct.    |  2.00|  1|  1|   2.00
CLEARBLANKALP       |Blank Alpha keys                |  7.00|  1| 37|   7.00
SPACEGREY           |Space (6.25 u;118;Filco/Cherry) |  2.00|  1|  1|   2.00
SPACEOLDGREY        |Space (7 u;133;57,57)           |  2.00|  1|  1|   2.00

Basically 4 star craft function keys, 1 set of clear blank alpha keys and 2 space bars are missing.

Any idea what is going on with those items?

Great!

Like been discussed, the new or old address?

Thanks.

Address?

Isn't  "To: jdreamer in Australia" sufficient?

Umm... Canada consists of more than just Toronto and Montreal.  There's also this little place called Vancouver (ya know, the Olympics, the Canucks riot, etc) which hasn't received their keys yet.  :(  But I'm still patiently waiting.
