Off-topic, but if you're concerned enough about key-placement to use Colemak, why is moving Backspace such a big deal? It's easier to reach when it's at the Caps Lock key.
The 'big deal' is that in colemak the official layout is that there is no caps lock - it's been replaced by another backspace.
You can use KeyTweak (or something similar) in Windows to permanently remap almost any key.
That is true, but there is (imo) a
better way (if you don't use qwerty, probably more hassle that worth if you do). This is the way I have used and it works. However, I could send you the set up file but I have (again lol) customized it to my keyboard (ISO/United Kingdom symbols) so I could make another one, but you will have to test it because I don't have an ANSI keyboard. I am not sure with Linux, but I could snoop around on the forums I guess if anyone wants to know.
I'm with Culina on this one.
Yay
So a total swap of Caps and Backspace? Sounds like what I do with my config anyway, so works for me (at least when I'm in X.org). :clap2:
Yes exactly  or another way to put it - A direct swap of the Caps Lock key and the Backspace key.
The reason why I posted it here was because it is not only limited to colemak for example, QWERTY/any other layout anyone could customized their keyboard for this swap!
