I might get the Model M 1391401 from the second link... I could use another Model M.

$40 is a little pricey for a standard Model M though.

A silver label 1391401? That's really odd.

EDIT: Oh, he transplanted the case.
EDIT II: Never mind then.

I think $40 is a good deal for a refurbished Model M.

Wait a sec, my current Model M is a 1391401 and it has the gray label.  Is it not suppose to?

Does anyone else think that in the picture with the ESC key removed, the barrel plate looks gray, but in the other pictures it looks black?

(Did the barrel plates come in gray? I've only seen black and almost-white)

RSI prevention recipe:[/B] Kinesis Contoured, Colemak layout, touch typing, Contour Design Rollermouse,  Logitech TrackMan Wheel, Logitech m570 trackball, "workrave" break timer software, "awesome" window manager, tenkeyless boards, cherry browns, Wang 724 with "ghetto green" ALPS, standing desk and/or comfy adjustable chairs, stress reduction, computer time reduction.

Fun non-ergonomic things: bolt modded Model M Space Saving Keyboards with new springs, Kensington Expert Mouse v7, Unicomp Endurapro, Northgates

On second thought. I have seen one barrel plate that was a dull, dark gray color. That is maybe what we're looking at.

So there are at least three color options: dull dark gray, shiny jet black, and off-white.

Kishy, it certainly looks brown to me. But I'm also told I suck at identifying colors.

I think it's called "being male".
