hello im a new member and i wanted to replace the key caps on my ss 6gv2
and if i can replace the 6gv2 keys with these keys can you tell me how the process work?
also what is the difference between blank keys and engraved? and how much does it cost to get it here to NY, USA

Extremely happy with the key feel, it's like a grainy sort of matte feel compared to the slimy slippery feeling of the filco. I think the sound is less of a pingy high click and more of a defined click. Very pleased.

God, i hope i get this with the doubleshots i ordered in the groupbuy. The slimy slippery feeling of the coating on filco keycaps got old really quickly!

Never had this problem with previous keyboards, but my WASD etc seem to get "slippery" and then i have to wash them with a dampened cloth. Didn't have to do that with my apple wireless keyboard or my IBM keyboard (non-mech) before that, suspect it has something to do with filco's coating. I'm using filcos otaku keycaps right now, dunno if they are different somehow..

I've had good luck using a Mr Clean Magic Eraser to remove fingertip oil and restore the keys to some of their former glory.

It's hard to explain, perhaps in comparison to the KBC keycaps it feels a lot different.

It's not exactly slippery that it's wet but it has a feel that when I drag it over a Filco key it's sort of sticky and resists me from sliding the finger all the way over it.
I guess I might just sweat a lot.

it's compatible. The only thing not compatible is the backspace, right shift, and the \. But that's bcoz i actually have the 6gv2 and not the 7g.

And would it be terribly expensive?

red and blue ones? printed? all the keycaps are lasered so it's impossible to get white letters on colored keycaps.
