Compaq 11800 - Working Trackball
« on: Thu, 10 February 2011, 12:49:43 »
I stumbled upon a nearly new Compaq 11800 in an old server room I was cleaning out. I'm not a huge fan of the function key layout and already own a three foot tall stack of IBM model m's so I thought Id see if anyone was interested.

The board looks like it was barely used and shows no signs of yellowing either. The trackball is in good working condition and the keycaps all look as good as the day they were manufactured. There is one small black scuff near the trackball (pictured) but other than that it is flawless. It has Cherry MX Browns and I would be glad to provide more pictures on request. Thanks for looking!

$35 + shipping (lower 48 only please)

But Americans love to whine anyway.

It's what makes us so lovable.

I've sent quite a few packages to England back when I had a little eBay business on the side, and the cheapest it'd be is $15 for a package somewhere around 2 lbs. It's probably going to be more like $25-$30.

For a cherry G80 POS keyboard, it was about $20 to send to france, for me. That was from IN, but it's likely about the same. You could probably do it for the compaq for as little as $10, if you don't care about tracking, since it will fit in a smaller box than the G80.

Funny story, I actually did find some more goods. Two IBM M4-1's - one white and one black, both in near new condition like this guy!
