Anyone bought a ducky 1087 from pchome?
« on: Wed, 16 February 2011, 07:41:17 »
Hello,

I've finally settled in getting a ducky 1087. Before I do I just has a quick question for anyone who has bought the English version from pchome.

Do the English versions have just English symbols on or are they the multi language kind as shown in all the pictures for ducky's on pchome?

I'm no too bothered if they are multi language. I just would have preferred plain English.

I've bought recently (pictures soon :D ) DK-1008 with English keyboard and it has only english symbols on key caps. The same situation must be on 1087 model.

I have a DK1087 on order from PCHome (hopefully arriving today).
I had to order the chinese version because they were out of english boards.

So I ordered these caps (english version) to go with it:

please post a pic of yours when it arrives... I am interested in seeing if the english keycaps you get are different than the replacements I ordered.

- Filco Majestouch 104 (Cherry brown) - metallic blue, usa
- Filco Majestouch Tenkeyless (Cherry blue) - black, usa
- PLU ML-87 (Cherry brown) - white, usa
- Rosewill RK-9000 (Cherry blue) - black, usa

The English version of the keyboard has only the standard US ANSI letters in them. I don't think there are many English versions (if any) left at PChome and I heard Ducky discontinued the 1087, so you might have to go with the Chinese version with Chinese letters on the keys. There might be another Ducky tenkeyless coming soon though.

Here's a pic of a Ducky 1087 English version for you.
