I guess I'm just being over cautious of what I buy.
"In the end there won't be too many differences between those"
That is what I wanted to hear, ty. I just wanted some insurance I guess, or something like that from someone with more keyboard experience. ^^
I just want a nice keyboard. I really like the LCD with the Deck Boards. It has everything I want really. I can get it with ps2 connect as well. I really want ps2 connect over usb.
There is one thing I'm confused about still.. Tactile and Linear.
On there website they explain the differences, but not good enough in my opinion.
I think i want Tactile?
I think there basically saying, Tactile is faster? I will be able to type faster and hit more key strokes with Tactile? Than that's the one I want.
Linear doesn't give you any indication of when the key is pressed. It's just you pressing down and increasing force.
Tactile you can feel a little bump (with browns) or feel a bump and hear a click (with blues) that tell you when you pressed it. When you first get the board, you won't be able to utilize the bump well, but it becomes muscle memory after a bit of use. I've been noticing after almost 2 weeks with my Compaq MX11800 (brown) that when I play games I can spam keys much faster...i know where the bump is, and i just go there, and release. It allows me much faster response in games like Heroes of Newerth. My mouse movement is fast enough to deny/last hit creeps, but my Arctosa was the slow point as it could take me too long to depress the key. Now that it's starting to become muscle memory, I can notice sometimes I instinctively lightly tap the key to actuation, release, and tap again very quickly. I've noticed it helps a lot with the abovementioned denying/last hitting and especially with orbwalking (if you've played dota you'll understand).
I'm not a pro or anything, and the change I'm talking about isn't huge, it just helps when I need quick instinctive response.
