Here is the latest, directly from one of the airlines

March 14, 2011
EMBARGO ON SHIPMENTS TO/FROM TOKYO NARITA
Dear Valued Customer,

Since the severe earthquake in Japan last week, the disruption in both domestic and international logistics to, from and through Japan has been severe.

While shipments into Tokyo Haneda (HND) are now operating on a normal schedule and flights are resuming today at other airports, we must advise that a necessary embargo, effective immediately, will apply on shipments into Tokyo Narita (NRT) until Thursday,17 Mar (Japan Standard Time).
All inbound shipments into or transiting Tokyo Narita will be embargoed, except for mail, official urgent aid or humanitarian medical items
All shipments being trucked to NRT from inside Japan will be embargoed, including shipments transiting Japan's other gateway airports
We will keep you updated as new information becomes available. Please keep in mind that the embargo may be extended beyond this date due to fuel shortages, rolling power outages or other local issues.

We appreciate your continued cooperation and support as our teams in Japan seek to normalize operations.

Also, I have been hearing talk of shutting down airspace if there is a massive core meltdown at any of the nuclear facilities that are having problems which would effect not only Japan but Korea, China and Taiwan.  I pray this does not happen, the Japanese have been through enough in the last few days.

I see some "minor" logistic issues here?

Also, this and previous picture puts things on scale. Those are likely 2 Unit, which is what 12 meters each(40 feet for non-metric)...
So I should add something useless here yes? Ok, ok...

Apparently it's going to impact the availability of a LOT of things.

This is actually pretty scary.
