[US48] Asus EEE 1000HE netbook
« on: Tue, 15 March 2011, 22:17:49 »
Not a keyboard sale, but hey, it HAS a keyboard, that counts right? Wonderful little netbook, 10" lcd, 160gb HDD, and 2gb of ram. Between my desktop, laptop, and cellphone, I've decided I just don't use this enough to justify keeping it. The windows xp sticker on the bottom was unreadable and has been removed, so I'll be shipping this with Unbuntu Netbook Remix installed. On request, I'll load up an un-activated copy of whatever version of Windows 7 the buyer prefers, so they can enter their own key and not hassle with making a usb drive to install windows.

Asking [strike]$220[/strike]$200 shipped, or best offer. Price dropped as I noticed a small nick in the screen, see pics below for the location. Not particularly looking for any trades, but you never know... The worst I can do is say no! :P

Pics!

As you can see, it's a bit of a fingerprint magnet. I'll of course wipe it all down before shipping. I can easily remove the sticker and any residue it leaves behind if the buyer prefers, I was just too lazy to pull it off before taking pics. Charging brick is included, I just forgot to unplug it to get pics of it as well.

(edit) Traded!

No dead pixels, but I took a closer look after you asked and there does look to be a small nick in the screen... Annoying, I hadn't noticed that before, dropping the price to $200 shipped to compensate for that. Battery life on this thing is still pretty close to what it got when new, I saw 5-6 hours of hulu/youtube/xvid pretty regularly, and just standard browsing I was getting 8-ish.

You can't really see in the pics of the screen I posted, either off or on, but here's the full-sized pic with it circled, to give you an idea of the location of it. I'll take a few more pics and see if I can get a better shot of it.

It's more noticeable with the screen off, here's a few full-sized pics so you can see exactly what I mean.
