ADB to USB adapters: any sources?
« on: Sat, 26 March 2011, 14:32:08 »
With the Griffin iMate discontinued and prices going sky-high on the remaining stock, I'm wondering if there's a source for low-cost ADB to USB adapters.  I found a NIB Apple Extended Keyboard II at the local computer surplus store ($5, with no fading!), and managed to snag the last Compucable ADB to USB adapter on Amazon ($17).  I've got an old, nearly mint NeXT ADB keyboard (with the giant command bar, and the Control key placed where God had intended it to be) that I'd like to sell, and having an adapter would sweeten the deal.

What you need is a belkin ADB adaptor. I have used one before and it was perfect.

I bought mine for 10 pounds last year but it looks like the prices are starting to creep up on these too now..

Thanks!  I've got a search on eBay going, so when one comes along, it's mine.  Maybe not as cheap as 10 quid/$16, but still ...
