Keyboard Issues on Windows

Hey, I'm new here but I've lurked in a few threads. So yea, for some reason my keyboard isn't working in Windows 7, though it's fine in the BIOS or in Ubuntu but as soon as I get to the Windows login screen it doesn't work. If it helps it's a U9BL-S and I'm using a PS/2 and USB port for it. Switching to dual USB doesn't even fix it. Any help on this? Thanks~

Out of curiosity, did you in the past own a Cherry keyboard for which you installed Cherry Tools? For some reason, whenever I've had that installed, non Cherry keyboards stop functioning as soon as windows, and I assume the Cherry software, finishes loading.

I bought it 3 weeks ago and it worked fine until booting up this morning. I also tried another PS/2 and USB keyboard  and none of them work on Windows. I'm actually using the onscreen keyboard right now.

Nope. Last keyboard I owned was salvaged from an ancient  emachine.

Try if in safe mode the problem is still present.

If in safe mode works disable all the non MS services and autostart programs wit msconfig, then re enable one by one until you spot the culprit.

I suppose your Win7 keyboard driver is corrupted. Do a system restore, or better, re-install Windows.
