So, some M13s came with a driver installation floppy. I'm unable to find a copy of it on either historical records of what was on the PCC BBS, or Lenovo's site, so I'm wondering what was on that floppy.

If there's actual TrackPoint II-specific drivers on there, that would be highly interesting, especially if they're the same versions as would be found on a ThinkPad of that vintage.

That's a driver for certain ThinkPads, not for the M13.

Yes I read.

It's a driver for the TP II, likely works also on the m13's one.

Except the "II" in there is an artifact of how it was stored in the PCCBBS. The models mentioned had TrackPoint IIIs. ;)

Clicky keyboards list the m13 as equipped with TP II or IV...

They're listing M13s, and TrackPoint IV-equipped keyboards - two different things.

Yes, correct.

My point was that there's no mention to trackpoint III

There never was a keyboard that was sold as a "TrackPoint III Keyboard", although confusingly, the 104-key rubber dome TrackPoint IV keyboard was actually a TrackPoint III. (Well, it had TrackPoint IV-like drivers, so I'll call it a TrackPoint 3.5.)

(There are two differences between a TrackPoint III and a TrackPoint IV - the TrackPoint IV has a third mouse button, and the drivers for the TP4 allow scrolling or a magnifying glass to be called up when that third mouse button is held down. The TrackPoint IV Keyboard only had two buttons, but came with drivers that gave it TP4-like capabilities when the shift key was held down.)
