Help me pick a gaming keyboard
« on: Tue, 24 May 2011, 05:20:17 »
I need to get a new keyboard for the my new gaming rig that i'm going to purchase in the next few months. My 2 current choices are the Blackwidow and the Steelseries 6GV2. Now my problem is that I want black switches AND backlit. I know that there's Deck, but the fonts on their keyboards are DISGUSTING. They may as well have Comic Sans. So are there any other backlit MX Black keyboards out there other than Deck?

The Z60 is expensive though, same price range as the BWU and 7G. I'd probably get a Z60 if they dropped the USB and audio ports though, as that'd also lower the price. I'm not paying that much extra for a couple of ports I don't even trust.

BlackWidow Expert is cheap and it has good quality of Cherry black switches. For backlit, you can buy a lamp.

Blackwidow sports blue switches and there's no such model as "Blackwidow Expert".

"Expert" is what Razer uses to classify their products.

The tom-toms have it Zibal might not become available before the end of July. Mionix = Truly Ergonomic dressed as a Swedish blonde?
