Filco Majestouch vs Majestouch 2

Im fairly new and was wondering what the real difference between the two is. im not talking about switches. but are they different in that the Maj2 is far superior in build quality or something along those lines. cause i bought a Maj TKL w/ bwns, for 120 shipped and thinking maybe i spent a little to much.

There are no differences that would actually matter. The gen2 has a pretty PCB and a few marketing buzzwords.

ah, ok, fair enough. it should get here in the next few days, pretty stoked for my first mech.

There's not enough different to worry about it.  As for price on a Maj1 if it was in like new condition (or new!) it was a pretty good deal.  If the keys are worn, not so much.  But I replaced the keys on my Filco with PBT before they ever managed to shine.

yeah, from the description and the pictures, its newer and has been taken care of, no key wear. but ill probably get a custom engraved set in some group buy in the near future.

If you're handy with the soldering iron, you should consider getting my Phantom mod and some heavy duty Cherry doubleshots ;)
