If you are going to have the Filco/Leo capable space bars wouldn't it be best to just merge all the SPACE and SPACELEO's to save on costs?

Because we finished the design only a month ago and it is untested as of right now. The first buy to officially use it will be \KL's Dyesub buy and that's not shipping yet. Once it is tested and proven it can be used in full force.

Can you not get a prototype key sent? I assume it would arrive before the end of this month.

I'm more than happy for doing the Wiki legwork/interest mongering for it :)

What are the BSD and GLIDER key kits, there is no pics on the wiki.  Could you also possibly add the LOD pics/combos to the Picture and Graphics section.

Also we need more sph keys ;o

I'm waiting for a suitable SVG for the BSD Deamon.

Any chance of having the Esc with red lettering from the RGB and RGBY kits added to the new RGBY1..* kits? (also woe to those who are not familiar with pattern matching!)

Also, in the interest of consolidating things, I wonder if it might be a good idea to send an email regarding some new kits which were not previously available to let those who don't regularly peruse this thread know they exist. Off the top of my head I think a lot of people wouldn't mind switching from whatever spacebar they had to the new one-size-fits-all SPACE and I imagine people who got RGB/RGBY kits wouldn't mind having the RGBY1..* instead either for the extra color or for the savings respectively. Unless most of them have terminals that need a mix of key sizes and/or "non-standard" sized keys of course.

OK, I add the Escape keys to all of them.

No problem with the space bar. If I see the new spacebar fit, it will be SPACE == SPACELEO.

But 7bit, now you've done the arrows, why not making textless Return keys?
However, if I were you, I would never allow textless Round 3 keys for reasons of copyright, art and style. Except for an offer you cannot refuse...

Also we need more sph keys ;o

The "Glider" is the hacker emblem, but since most people get "hacker" confused nowadays it's normally not polite to mention it. This way, confusion is avoided (normally it goes like this: me:"I'm a hacker" person:"you break into banks and steal my money??")

I'd recommend looking it up. The "Jargon File", which contains a lot of interesting computer-related history, has a good writeup on it.  Even if you don't want to display the logo, it's good to know what it stands for, that way you'll be able to recognise it when you see it, and at least know what it means. I found it very interesting at first, now it's on my resume.

Information:
http://catb.org/hacker-emblem/

I only really rarely see other people displaying it though. I wouldn't get one unless you agree with all the philosophy, and understand the history that's attached to it. (To prevent confusion, once again.)

The point is: It's good to understand what "hacker" means, and to know what the "glider" stands for. That way, you won't confuse the philosophy with the current popular interpretation of the word "hacker". There's also a picture of the emblem on the above-linked 'site.
----
This was shamelessly stolen from my previous post. If anyone asks again, I'll do another revision :p

Ask the french members, they will have the clue for you!

The SYMBOLS kit will contain 12 keys with symbols (mostly arrows) on them.
It will cost $35.

*MARROWUP100R1 1 unit, row 1
*MARROWDN100R2 1 unit, row 2
*BACKSPACE200 2 units, row 1
*TABARROW150 1.5 units, row 2
*HANDBAGCAP 1.75 units, row 3
*ARROWUPMOD225 2.25 units, row 4
*ARROWUPMOD275 2.75 units, row 4
*ARROWRET 2.25 units, row 3
*CARROWS 1 unit, row 4 (4 arrows for the cursor block)

The SYMBOLSISO kit is the version for ISO-layout.

What is with ARROWDOWN for Capslock?
Edit: Nevermind the HANDBAGCAP should be the caps keycap :)

You can have it separately!

Currentyl, there are 2 versions (ANSI, ISO) with a stepped Caps Lock version, there are 4 choices.

Now comes the arrow-down instead of handbag variant ...

Maybe I throw the Caps Lock out of this, so everybody can take what they want.

Why not make a massive kit of 1000 keys, price it super low, and give it a badass name like "Starcraft Portal Starwars Twilight"... that would sell immediately.

Wait...is there a minimum number of keys we need for this GB? I could order more if needed, but then I'd need another board to put then on. Lol.

Besides, that's only the full kit - why aren't about the RGBY kits included etc etc?

7bit I know I'm getting a bit pedantic here bit is it possible to get the Fn key in blue a la RGBY kit? I'm fine with the orange one but it would be a plus if it matched!

Also I'm very sorry...but I haven't disabled this on this device...doing it now

vvv

And then it contains only text-keys...

Looking for keycaps for a Phantom 7bit layout board and I was wondering if I could get compatible keycaps from this group buy. The layout I plan to go with is this http://tinyurl.com/6m2v27q . I would like legends to be as close as possible.

Your letters are not doable in Doubleshot at that size.

Function row: All keys are in the TKL kits, except Tab and = .
Row 1: all those ! ... ) are available in the NUMERIC it.
Home is in the TKL kit. I don't know about End ....

Row 2: All keys are in the TKL kit. I had forgotten where you find the 1.5 units Backspace.

Row 3: All keys exist in the TKL or TENKLSS and the short Return will be somewhere ...

Row 4: FN is in the TENKLESS kit. If you need more, maybe I will add it to the MODIFIER it and maybe it is already there;-)

Bottom row: row 4 + can be added to the NUMERIC kit.

FN2 and FN3: Better use Super, Hyper or Meta instead!

are you refering to the text size that I used? If so thats just a placeholder o what functions I would like the keys to have not the actual way I would like the legends to be. When I said I wanted legends to ba s close as possible what I meant was that the same function was written on the key cap. Im not too particular how it looks, though I would prefer a uniform look across all key caps.

yes and all the letter should be in any standard kit. the number pad should be in a full size minus the "0" and "+"

Also nonstandard would be "Del" and "End". Possibly "|\" and left "Shift" but those could be standards from a ISO layout board.

From Left to right other keys that wouldnt be standard would be "Control", "Fn", "Caps", "Alt", "Win", "Menu", and "Fn 2" and "Fn 3" coud just be "Fn" if that would help.

Sorry didnt see the edit. So I would need TKL, NUMERIC, ans some random keys? How would I get the random ones?
